Alhamdulillah! After 15 long years, a mentally challenged senior citizen from Phulrawan has finally been reunited with his family .

The elderly man was found abandoned in Sargodha, unable to share his home address or any personal details due to his mental condition. Because of this, his family could not be traced for many years, and he remained separated from his loved ones.

Under the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, the Mera Pyara team in Sargodha conducted a detailed interview with the senior citizen. Driven by compassion and humanity, the team shared his information through Mera Pyara  official  social media platforms.

With Allah’s blessings, continuous follow-ups, effective coordination, and tireless efforts, the family was finally traced. After 15 years of separation, the elderly man was safely handed over to his loved ones. You can read more success stories on website.

The mission of Mera Pyara is clear: no child, special individual, or senior citizen should remain unidentified or separated from their family. To support this mission, Mera Pyara has compiled nationwide data of unidentified children and individuals living in orphanages and shelter homes, available on Mera Pyara official website.

There is a common misconception that Mera Pyara only handles lost and found cases of children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities. In reality, Mera Pyara is a comprehensive child safety and protection platform that also addresses critical issues such as child abuse, sexual violence, sodomy, harassment, domestic violence, digital abuse, online exploitation, and all other forms of harm against children, ensuring timely response, protection, and case resolution across Pakistan.

  • 53,000 cases involved lost and found children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities

    • 51,000 individuals were successfully reunited with their families

  • 47,000 cases involved other critical child safety concerns, including child abuse, digital abuse, harassment, exploitation, and violence

    • 41,000 cases were successfully resolved through timely action

These efforts are helping Mera Pyara emerge as a leading child safety platform in Pakistan. Videos and details of unidentified individuals are also shared on Mera Pyara’s official platforms.
