With no identification, he was found alone on 7 January 2025 and was shifted to an Edhi Home for safety and care, where he received protection and basic support.

Mera Pyara - Virtual center for child safety has started a great initiative to reunite every lost child or individual living in any shelter home. As a part of this mission, the Mera Pyara team interviewed the last child, Salman, and shared on official media platforms to find his family.
The people watch the video and shared in groups so that it reaches to his family. After a few days Mera Pyara team received a call from an anonymous number who was asking about Salman and told weeping that Salman is his son. The Mera Pyara team asked him to reach the Edhi center in Multan, and after court verification, the lost child, Salman handed over to his family. At the time of the meeting, his mother broke into tears, making it a very emotional reunion.
This Mera Pyara reunification of Salman became possible through dedicated efforts, strong coordination, and the positive use of social media. It highlights how Mera Pyara is operating as the largest child safety platform in Pakistan, addressing lost and found cases while protecting vulnerable children across the country.
